Built from the room, not the boardroom.
HuLux was born where several worlds met: lived experience, healthcare operations, patient experience, education, research, and innovation. Each taught the same lesson from a different angle — that people are too often asked to fit themselves into systems that were never designed with their humanity in mind.
We watched families navigate diagnoses, caregivers carry invisible weight, and communication break down at the exact moments connection mattered most. And we kept returning to one question: what if technology was designed around what remains in a person, rather than only what is declining?
That question became a framework. The framework became a flagship. And the flagship became the beginning of something larger — an organization committed to translating evidence-informed communication principles into practical tools for decades to come.
